Not that long ago, I was unfit and lacked energy. Since joining West Wood, I have climbed Ben Nevis and completed the Wicklow Way Challenge. In one year I have put on one stone of muscle. The results really do speak for themselves; I lost four inches off my waist, I gained five inches on my chest and gained one and a half inches on my arms. I am now in the kind of shape where I can run 200m in 26 seconds on an indoor track!

I have been a member for 9 years. I train about 5 times a week. What I love about Westwood gyms is the space and sunny views from their main floors. Staff are very friendly and you have a large amount of classes to choose from. It's also a very clean gym probably the nicest I have seen. I would highly recommend it. 29/05/09

Westwood Sandymount is the best gym I have ever been a member of. It caters for all levels of fitness. Among it’s most impressive aspects are the variety of classes such as spinning for cardio fitness and Body Pump for burning off the excess weight. The gym instructors and staff are another plus point – professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and friendly. The equipment in terms of cardio machines, weight machines and free weights are plentiful so you never have to queue. Changing facilities are excellent – clean and spacious. All in all it is fantastic value for money – the monthly membership fee costs less than one night out in the town.

I have been a member of Westwood Sandymount since 2000. There has always been plenty of variety in the classes, lots of motivation and the staff are experienced, helpful and very friendly. The studios and gym floor are well equipped and the swimming pool and sauna are really welcome and well maintained. With classes from spin, to pump, to abs, body balance there really is something for everyone.
