West Wood Club Dún Laoghaire is looking for a practical, dependable, and solutions-driven Maintenance professional who takes real pride in keeping a busy facility running at its best. You’ll play a key role in the daily operation of one of Dublin’s leading health clubs, ensuring every area — from the gym floor and pool to the spa and member spaces — stays safe, functional, and looking its best.
Carry out routine maintenance and repair work across the entire club.
Complete basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Inspect, service, and maintain equipment to ensure safe, smooth operation.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests and any facility issues that arise.
Support general upkeep, cleaning duties, and essential safety checks.
Work closely with management and external contractors when needed.
Experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
Strong understanding of building systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage your time well.
Sharp attention to detail and confident problem-solving skills.
Clear communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
Occasional evenings or weekends required.
