Aston Quay Reception Renovation Has Officially Begun
Work has officially started on the brand-new Reception Area at West Wood Club Aston Quay — kicking off today, 24 November.
If you’ve visited the club this morning, you’ll already see the first signs of the transformation.
We had planned to announce this on Friday, but the update slipped through the cracks. So thank you for your understanding as we bring you up to speed today.
We’ve begun a complete redesign of the Aston Quay Reception Area.
This is a full makeover — new look, new feel, new layout. When it reopens in January 2026, you’ll walk into a reception that’s modern, bright, and aligned with the new West Wood Club brand experience. The inspiration comes from our stunning Clontarf reception, and Aston Quay will match that same high-quality, contemporary style.
The project is not expected to be lengthy. However, we’re heading into the Christmas period — a time when builders take their holidays and delivery timelines can be unpredictable. To give the most realistic and honest timeframe, we’re advising that completion is expected in January 2026.
Members will see approximately five to six workers on site each day as the project progresses.
There are no changes to entry routes at this time.
The front door remains open as normal.
A temporary reception is now in place just behind the gates.
Everything continues to operate as usual.
During the renovation period, bringing your swipe card is more important than ever. It helps our staff manage entry quickly and efficiently while the temporary reception is in use.
You may also notice paintwork taking place on the upstairs gym floor throughout this week. This is separate from the main reception project but part of our continued improvements around the club.
We know renovations can feel disruptive, especially during busy times of the year. But this upgrade is a major step in elevating the Aston Quay experience for every member. When the new reception opens in early 2026, it will be worth the wait.
