A Safe, Structured Introduction to Group Fitness
Many teenagers feel unsure in traditional gym environments.
They may be active in sport — but hesitant in a gym setting.
They may want to try fitness classes — but feel intimidated walking in alone.
These Family Fitness classes remove that uncertainty.
Teens follow a clearly defined timetable. Sessions are professionally coached. Parents attend the classes and train alongside them.
Designed Specifically for the 10–14 Growth Phase
Between 10 and 14, posture changes, coordination improves and bone density increases rapidly. It is a key stage of physical development.
Technique matters. Poor movement habits can carry forward. Proper coaching builds foundations that support sport, physical confidence and long-term health.
At launch, our family fitness classes begin with two weekend classes:
Family Circuits
Family BoxFit
We are taking a phased introduction to teen group fitness alongside a parent.
As demand grows, additional suitable classes may be added for 10–14 year olds training with a parent. Any future additions will prioritise appropriate progression for this age group.
Our goal is simple: help young people move well, build confidence and develop positive exercise habits early.
Building Confidence Through Real Progress
With consistent, structured training:
Technique improves
Posture improves
Endurance improves
Self-confidence improves
When young people can see their improvement, they want to keep going.
Teen Fitness, when delivered properly, is not about appearance. It is about capability — and capability builds durable confidence.
Reducing screen time — by offering something better
Screens are part of modern life. That’s not changing.
What can change is what competes with screen time.
When Family Fitness becomes part of the week, it gives teenagers something active, social and structured to look forward to.
Energy levels often improve. Sleep patterns can improve too. Over time, many teens begin to look forward to regular fitness training.
And because you’re training alongside them, it doesn’t feel like a rule.
It feels like something you’re doing together.
A shared experience that strengthens families
Parent and Teen Fitness Classes offer something most activities don’t: shared effort.
Training together builds accountability and mutual respect. You see each other improve. You encourage each other to keep going.
It strengthens physical capability — and builds a stronger connection through shared effort.
Structured sessions inside a professionally coached studio environment create energy and focus — without the unpredictability of a general gym floor.
Why family fitness works
The World Health Organisation recommends at least 60 minutes of daily physical activity for young people aged 5–17. Most adolescents fall short of that target.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention links regular physical activity in young people to improved cardiovascular health, stronger bones and muscles, better concentration, reduced anxiety and improved self-esteem.
Long-term behaviour change rarely comes from instruction alone. It comes from example.
That is why these classes are designed for teens to attend with a parent.
When a parent trains alongside their teen, fitness becomes normal. It becomes shared. It becomes part of everyday life.
That is how consistent exercise habits are formed.
