NEW Ladies Changing Rooms
AT LAST! NEW €1.1 Million Luxurious Changing Rooms for Ladies at West Wood Club, Leopardstown!
We know. It’s about time.
Recognising the need for a significant upgrade, we're thrilled to announce the commencement of construction on brand-new female locker rooms at West Wood Club, Leopardstown.
Your current lady’s locker rooms have seen better days, and we've taken the initiative to transform your lady’s locker rooms into luxurious spaces that cater to your needs.
Construction will kick off on January 15th, with an estimated completion time of approximately 18 weeks.
Temporary changing facilities during construction
The biggest challenge when deciding when to start the work on your new lockers rooms was finding temporary changing facilities for you during construction.
We looked at many options including using Portakabins, but most were unworkable, as space and access is limited.
After exploring all the options, we've devised a plan to ensure minimal disruption.
Construction Timeline
1. On January 15th, we'll start building your new ground floor lady’s changing facilities.
2. Your 'upstairs' female changing room will remain open until your new ground floor facilities are completed.
3. The old ground floor male changing room will be temporarily repurposed as the female changing room during construction.
4. Ladies who want access to the swimming pool and spa can use the old gents changing room on the ground floor, which has full access to the pool and spa.
5. For those using only the gym, your upstairs ladies changing rooms will be available.
6. Once the new downstairs female changing rooms are open, we'll begin upgrading the upstairs facilities, aiming for completion by late May.
Throughout the construction period, our staff and management will be on hand to minimise disruptions and ensure a smooth experience for all members.
Your other West Wood Clubs in 2024
