You may have noticed some builders around West Wood Club, Dun Laoghaire over the last couple of weeks.
This is the beginning of something we have been planning for a long time, and we cannot wait for you to experience the result.
West Wood Club Dun Laoghaire is getting a complete transformation: new changing rooms, new spas, and a brand new air handling system for the entire club.
Preliminary works began on 13th April, and over the coming months, you are going to watch something truly special take shape.

We're rebuilding your changing rooms and your and spa facilities from the ground up
Here is what will be waiting for you when the doors of your brand new changing rooms and spa open:
Two completely new spas: bigger, more spacious sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and amazing new ice baths. Whether you want to unwind after a workout or recover faster, your new spa has everything you need.
12 luxurious new showers in each changing room, plus a dedicated drying area. No queuing, no rushing — just a perfect hot shower every single time.
Ice baths: the ultimate recovery tool, right on your doorstep. Used by elite athletes worldwide, now available to you every time you visit.
68 new gents lockers & 150 new ladies lockers: all with easy-use digital locks. No more fumbling with keys or combinations — just tap, store, and go.
A brand new club-wide air handling system delivering 100% fresh air and eliminating 91.5% of bacteria. Breath easier, train better — perfect air and water temperature throughout the entire club, every day.

To facilitate the construction, each changing room and spa will close for three months.
We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience this causes to your daily routine, and we want you to know that we have done everything we possibly can to keep disruption to a minimum.

Ladies changing room & spa closes: 17th August — reopens 6th November
Poolside cubicles, lockers & extra shower available from: 21st May
We have put a lot of thought into making sure you can still enjoy the club throughout the build:
Toilet facilities remain open will be available for all members throughout the entire project
From 21st May, poolside changing cubicles and lockers are available for swimmers, along with an additional poolside shower
All gym classes run as normal. We will give you plenty of notice ahead of a brief Les Mills studio closure for ventilation works (dates to be confirmed)
Booty Bar equipment has been relocated outside the Les Mills studio.
One of the great benefits of being a West Wood member is that your membership gives you full access to all West Wood clubs across Dublin — so you are never without a place to workout while works are ongoing.
That means you can walk through the doors of any of our clubs at Sandymount, Leopardstown, Clontarf, Aston Quay, and Westmanstown and enjoy everything they have to offer — all included as part of your existing membership, at no extra cost.
