Full-Time Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer — West Wood Club Sandymount

We are searching for a passionate, enthusiastic, and professional fitness professional to join our team at West Wood Club Sandymount. While formal qualifications are required, our staff are chosen above all for their genuine energy, empathy, and ability to make our members feel welcome, confident, and happy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Results: Guide members to achieve their personal health, fitness, and lifestyle goals with tailored programmes matched to their ability.

  • Welcome & Onboard: Introduce members to the gym floor and equipment with patience, clarity, and care, removing intimidation and making beginners feel at ease.

  • Execute Proven Systems: Consistently deliver West Wood Club’s 6-Day Personal Training Plan according to club systems and standards.

  • Energize the Member Experience: Create memorable, uplifting interactions on the gym floor every day and teach high-energy group exercise classes.

  • Uphold Flawless Physical Standards: Take ownership of the gym floor by keeping equipment and workout zones spotless, organized, and safe (never walking past an issue).

  • Drive Connection & Community: Actively support internal fitness promotions, retention campaigns, and member challenges.

  • Build Your Business: Grow your own personal training client base within the club and double your income.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Recognised fitness qualification (NCEF, NCEHS, ITEC, ACE, or equivalent).

  • Ability to follow structured systems and guidelines from the Gym Manager to execute the 6-Day Personal Training Plan (a distinct advantage).

  • Certified in Les Mills programmes (a distinct advantage).

  • Proven experience delivering studio classes such as indoor cycle, BoxFit, circuits, and kettlebells (an advantage).

  • Solid understanding of gym floor safety, exercise mechanics, and program design.
