Pool & Spa Guidelines.

Etiquette, Safety & Member Experience

Our pool and spa facilities are designed to help you relax, recover and feel your best. 

These guidelines and etiquette standards are in place to ensure a calm, clean and enjoyable environment for all members. By following them, you help protect the safety, comfort and overall experience of everyone using the facilities.

Before You Use the Spa

Allow your body temperature to return to normal before using the spa facilities if you have been exercising.

Remove all metal items, jewellery, watches, contact lenses, glasses and make-up before use. Spa chemicals may cause damage or discolouration.

Proper swimwear must be worn at all times. Swim caps are mandatory in the pool.
Suitable footwear such as flip-flops or Crocs must be worn in all pool and spa areas.

Hygiene & General Safety

  • Shower before entering the pool, Jacuzzi or plunge pool, and again when moving between heat facilities such as the sauna and steam room.

  • Do not use personal grooming products in the spa area, including shampoos, razors or lotions.

  • Always sit on a towel when using the sauna.

  • Do not pour water on sauna coals.

  • No diving or jumping into the pool, Jacuzzi or plunge pool.

  • Walk carefully at all times, as floors may be wet.

  • Dry off before entering and leaving spa areas.

  • No food, glass bottles, chewing gum, plasters or gym bags are permitted in the spa area.

  • Mobile phones are strictly not allowed in spa area

  • Photography and video recording are not allowed.

Health & Wellbeing

  • Drink plenty of water while using the spa.

  • Avoid sudden extreme temperature changes.

  • If you feel unwell, dizzy or uncomfortable at any time, leave the area immediately, cool down gradually and inform a staff member.

  • Always follow the recommended usage times for each facility.

Do Not Use the Spa If…

  • You are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.

  • You are suffering from a skin condition, sores or open wounds.

  • You have heart disease, circulatory problems, high or low blood pressure, kidney disease, diabetes, or any condition that may affect your reaction to heat.

  • You are taking medication that may affect your tolerance to heat.

  • If you are unsure, please consult your doctor before using the facilities.

Respect & Courtesy

  • This is a quiet relaxation zone. Please keep noise to a minimum.

  • Be considerate when using jets and relaxation beds. Other members may be waiting.

  • Respect personal space and avoid splashing.

  • Help us maintain a calm, clean and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Sauna Guidelines

  • Sit or lie on a towel at all times.

  • Choose a bench height that is comfortable. Higher benches are hotter.

  • Relax for 8–10 minutes to allow your body temperature to rise and promote perspiration.

  • After cooling down and resting, you may return for a further 5–10 minutes.

  • Do not exceed 20–30 minutes in total, as excessive exposure may result in dizziness or fainting.

  • After your session, take a cool shower, rest in the chill area, then take a warm shower before leaving the spa.

Steam Room Guidelines

  • Relax for 6–12 minutes per session.

  • Leave the room before you feel uncomfortable.

  • Cool down naturally or take a cool shower before returning.

  • You may repeat the cycle once or twice, depending on comfort.

  • Too much exposure may cause dizziness or nausea.

  • After use, take a cool shower, rest, then take a warm shower before leaving the spa.

Jacuzzi Guidelines

  • Use the steps provided when entering and exiting.

  • Do not jump or dive into the Jacuzzi.

  • Limit your time to a maximum of 15 minutes.

  • If you feel uncomfortable at any time, leave immediately.

  • Do not put your head or hair under the water.

Plunge Pool Guidelines

  • Use the steps provided when entering and exiting.

  • Do not jump or dive into the plunge pool.

  • Limit your time to a maximum of 5 minutes.

  • Do not stand directly over water jets.

  • Do not put your head or hair under the water.

  • Leave immediately if you feel uncomfortable.

Pool Area Rules
